Since the young age of 10, Adele Baker Underwood has had the vision of becoming an attorney to give a voice to individuals who are voiceless. This vision transformed into opening a law practice that caters to juveniles (minors/children) and criminal defendants. Helping others has been her passion for as long as she can remember. Fast forward 15 years and the Baker Underwood Law Firm was born.
Baker Underwood Law Firm opened its doors in 2018. Since that time, the firm has undertaken the project of becoming a fixture in the community. Since Fall 2018, Baker Underwood Law Firm has offered (and will continue to offer) a free legal advice clinic to the citizens of Montgomery and surrounding Counties. The firm also offers a free legal advice clinic to citizens of Perry County twice per year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall of each year. In hopes of making access to legal services more accessible to community members, Baker Underwood Law offers a heavily discounted consultation fee. Additionally, this firm helps community members find the resources for their legal and nonlegal needs - even if they decide not to hire the firm’s services. This firm’s goal is to be here for YOU.
